Heaven Sent

When prohibition ended in 1933, 5 brothers saw an opportunity for a new business venture when they identified that there was a great thirst for bourbon in Kentucky.

Taking advantage of this demand, the Shapiro brothers invested in a distillery that they would come to buy outright, Heaven Hill, with no stock or brands. Today, Heaven Hill is the largest independent, family-owned distilled spirits supplier in the United States. An investment paid off!

Heaven Hill is the 6th largest supplier of distilled spirits in America and have a whole host of fantastic brands, some include:

Elijah Craig ...just to name a few!

Sitting King of the Hill in our auction this month is the 22 Year Old Elijah Craig from Heaven Hill. This single barrel was distilled in 1990 and those oak charred notes manifest itself into those wonderful burnt caramel, vanilla and butterscotch notes. A regal bourbon classic not to be missed.
