About the distillery
Glendronach distillery is a Scottish whisky distillery located near Forgue, by Huntly, Aberdeenshire, in the Highland whisky district. In April 2016 Glendronach Distillery was purchased by the Brown-Forman Corporation. The deal included BenRiach and Glenglassaugh distilleries.
The distillery draws its water from the Dronac burn within the distillery grounds. It has its own floor maltings and two wash stills in addition to two spirit stills.
Other Information
One of Glendronach's most sought after range, and becoming very rare, this 19 year old whisky was distilled in June 1995 and matured in an Oloroso Sherry Puncheon before being bottled from the single cask (#4889) in November 2014.
The cask produced only 625 bottles.
This is bottle number 221.
