About the distillery
The Nc'Nean Distillery is situated on the west coast of Scotland and released their inaugural single malt, Ainnir, in August 2020 - just 3 years after the first run of spirit production. The distillery pride themselves on being a certified organic scotch whisky, using recycled glass for their notable bottle style. Nc'Nean are also pioneers for running exclusively on green energy and utilising renewable electricity.
Nc'Nean is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, known as the Queen of Spirits in Gaelic legend.
Distilled in June 2017 and bottled in August 2020, this is the first release of organic scotch whisky from the Nc'Nean distillery. Matured in a mixture of Red Wine (65%) and Ex-bourbon casks (35%) and bottled at 60.3% Vol.
