About the distillery
Between 1958 and 1981, the Glenburgie-Glenlivet Distillery had two contrasting pairs of potstills, one pair of the familiar swan-necked shape and the other pair with shorter, cylindrical necks. These were known as Lomond stills. Because of the quite different character of the whisky these stills produced - richer and heavier, although from the same mash - their product was given another name, Glencraig.
Distilled on 11th June 1976, and bottled on 2nd November 2011 after maturation for 35 years in a bourbon barrel cask (number 4255).
This is bottle number 2 of 185.

Lots will be sold as seen and described. Insurance against any damage during transit is available at checkout at a cost of 3% of the hammer price. Please note that if insurance is not selected, due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
