About the distillery
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.

This legendary single malt Macallan is triple cask matured for 10 years in a unique complex combination of exceptional oak casks; European oak casks seasoned with Sherry, American oak casks seasoned with Sherry and American oak casks seasoned with bourbon.
