About the distillery
Jura distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery on the island of Jura in the Inner Hebrides off the West Coast of Scotland. The distillery is owned by Whyte and Mackay, which in turn is owned by Philippines-based Emperador Inc.
This bottle of Jura Whisky was part of the Matthew Forrest experimental collection released to the Japanese market.
Distilled on the 15th October 1975, and matured for 28 years in cask number 2620 before being bottled at a remarkable 60.9%
This is bottle number 052 of only 192.
