About the distillery
Located between Tokyo and Yokohama, the Kawasaki distillery was set up in 1935. One of the smallest distilleries in Japan, it is the lesser known sibling of the popular Karuizawa distillery. Kawasaki did, however, have a reputation for making excellent grain whisky. Now closed, the remaining stocks from the distillery were recovered by Ichiro and very few bottles remain of this particular single grain whisky.
Distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2010. Cask type: Sherry. Cask#7411
There are only 669 bottles of this rare Japanese single grain whisky.
