About the distillery

Founded by Liam Hughes, Ian McDougall and Mike Hayward in 2012, the Glasgow Distillery Company is the first independent single malt-producing distillery based in the city since 1902.

1770 Glasgow Single Malt Whisky, produced from the city's first new independent distillery, a first in 110 years. 

Matured in first-fill American Oak bourbon casks and finished in virgin oak this unique piece of history was available via a ballot only purchase, marking the start of a new whisky era in Glasgow.

1 of only 5,000 bottles released in 2018.
