About the distillery

Benromach is a Speyside distillery founded by Duncan McCallum and F.W. Brickman in 1898 and currently owned and run by Gordon and Macphail of Elgin.

It is situated near Forres in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside Forres.

Other Information

An exclusive single cask of only 575 bottles made to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of its reopening. Presented in a beautifully crafted wooden and Copper box this release was distilled on 21st August 1998 before the bottling on 21st August 2018 exactly 20 years after it was filled and is a cask strength 1998 vintage.

The cask was signed by HRH The Duke of Rothesay, Prince Charles during the distillery's reopening ceremony on 15th October 1989. 

This is bottle no. 380 / 575.
